All classes on Sunday afternoons only from 1:30 to 4:00 pm.

The Academy will accommodate K-12th grade students in SIX LEVELS

from beginner to intermediate, advanced, and tournament competition training.

Note: students will be re-evaluated in class

Beginner 1: New to chess or only knows pieces/movement.

Beginner 2: Plays and captures pieces.

Intermediate 1: Plays on Chesskid. Complete games.

Intermediate 2: Plays tournaments, online or at school program.

Advanced 1: Rated over 200 or best player in family. Talks chess. Wins online.

Advanced 2: Below 500 rated (live or online) Watches videos.

Tournament 1: Rated above 500. Plays tournaments: local, state or national.

Tournament 2: Rated near/above 1000. Reserved for our strongest players.
